Classic Simple Syrup
This recipe makes 8 oz of classic syrup. A serving size is considered 1/2 oz, which is equivalent to 2 pumps of syrup at a coffee shop.

Ingredients

(or you can use white granulated sugar)

Instructions
Pour sugar and water into your saucepan over medium heat
Stir to combine the sugar and water
Bring to a boil while continually stirring, make sure all the sugar fully dissolves
Remove from heat and cool completely
Transfer to an air-tight container and store in the fridge for about 2 weeks
Notes
You can add whatever extracts or baking emulsions you have on hand to make flavored syrups!
